Our favorite switchgrass now textures a mini hoop pendant.  This dainty necklace is great to wear every day as a reminder of the beauty of the prairie.  I created this pendant in fine silver to show the detail of the seed heads of switchgrass.  The pendant is oxidized to bring out the lovely texture of the grass.

The pendant shown has sold.  I have one ready to ship.  These are handmade so the pattern may be different for each pendant.

Materials

The pendant is made from recycled fine silver (99.9% pure silver). The chain is solid sterling silver (92.5% silver).

Dimensions

Pendant Size: Approximately 5/8" diameter. A bit smaller than a dime.

Chain: Your choice of length: 18", 20", 24". These lengths are great for layering your necklaces. Choose chain length before adding to your cart.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
