Switchgrass in the fall is like the golden hour of the day. The rich bronze color of the fall prairie at sunset is a beautiful thing to see. I've created this switchgrass design and had it cast in solid yellow bronze. As it naturally oxidizes, it leaves a beautiful patina. You'll receive a polishing cloth to polish the seed heads and make them stand out and shine. Photos show an 18" length chain of solid sterling silver that is deeply oxidized to create a beautiful contrast to the bronze pendant. I have both 18" and 20" chains.

Materials

The pendant is cast in solid yellow bronze. The chain is solid sterling silver (92.5% silver) that is deeply oxidized to give it the black color.

Pendant Size: Approximately 3/4" diameter.

Chain: Ball chain of 18" or 20"

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
