I captured a beautiful swamp milkweed leaf in this long triangular pendant of sterling silver. The detail on the veining is enhanced with a dark patina in the recesses. I created this with a satin finish so that the leaf impression really stands out. I've wire-wrapped a blue-green ancient Roman glass bead at the top.

Materials

Pendant and chain are solid sterling silver (92.5% silver). Ancient Roman glass bead.

Dimensions

Pendant measures approximately 2 1/4" x 5/8". The chain is available in 18" or 20" lengths, depending on your selection at checkout. It can also be purchased without the chain.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
