Ear Components:

I created these silver squash blossom earrings using prairie buffalograss for texture.  I oxidized these long dangle earrings to bring out the beautiful texture of the grass.  Prairie jewelry at its finest and with a southwest flair.

Each pair will vary slightly from photos because they are handmade.

Earring photos show French hook ear components.  I also offer an upgrade of hinged hoops or clip-on components.  Please choose your preference before adding to your cart.  The default is French hooks.

Materials

I created the buffalograss portions from recycled fine silver (99.9% pure silver). All other portions are sterling silver (92.5% silver).

Dimensions

Length of earring from top of the ear wire to the bottom of the earring is about 3". Width at widest point is about 1/2".

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
