Silver sage earrings have purple charoite gemstones.  Charoite has a pearl-like sheen and is naturally purple.  The silver and purple make a beautiful color combination.  The sage texture is highlighted by oxidizing the silver and then polishing to remove some of the oxidation.  It helps bring out the texture of the sacred plant.  

The sage and gemstones hang from huggie hoop closures, making this a secure style of earring.

Materials

I created the sage portions in fine silver (99.9% pure silver), and everything else is sterling silver (92.5% silver). Gemstones are charoite.

Dimensions

These earrings are 2 1/8 inches in length. Gemstones are 8 mm in diameter.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Keep the beaded portion away from contact with liquids.
