Earring Styles:

I believe that the spirit of wildflowers resides in the hives of bees.  As bees visit asters in the fall, they take back a portion of the life-giving pollen for their hives.  This is the message behind these beehive earrings.  I've created the aster hive-shaped portions from fine silver (99.9% silver) and paired them with bee Czech glass coin beads.  Choose your color before adding to your cart.  I have one pair of each color in stock.

These come with kidney ear wires as shown in photos.  I also have clip-on options or hinged hoop closures.  Contact me for these options as they will add about $20 to the price.

Materials

Aster hexagon pieces are handmade from fine silver (99.9% silver). Ear wires are forged from sterling silver (92.5% silver). Beads are Czech glass coin beads.

Dimensions

The total length of the earring from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the aster hexagon is approximately 2 1/8 inches. Bead is 10mm.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
