Fine silver moth earrings are textured with prairie ticklegrass.  Each moth dangles from my hand-forged sterling silver ear wires.  Textured moths are crafted from fine silver (99.9% pure).

The last photo is for size reference only.  Expect slight variations as I make each set by hand.

Materials

Moths are handmade from fine silver (99.9% silver) and soldered to sterling silver (92.5% silver) hoops. Ear wires are forged from sterling silver.

Dimensions

The moths measure approximately 1 1/8" x 1/2". The total length of each earring from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the moth's wing is about 1 3/4".

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
