Silver fern earrings celebrate the peaceful, shadowed areas of our forests.  One earring shows the spores from the underside, and the other shows the veining of the top of a fern frond.  The green tourmaline gemstones are faceted.  The green color reflects the color of ferns and celebrates growth.  

The ferns and gemstones hang from huggie hoop closures, making this a secure style of earring.

Materials

I created the fern portions in fine silver (99.9% pure silver) and everything else is sterling silver (92.5% silver). Gemstones are green tourmaline.

Dimensions

These earrings are 2 5/8 inches in length. Gemstones are rose-cut (faceted) tourmaline.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Keep the beaded portion away from contact with liquids.
