Earring Styles:

Silver butterfly earrings are textured with prairie ticklegrass.  Each butterfly dangles from my hand-forged fish hook ear wires of sterling silver.  Each earring is topped with a bead recycled from blue-green ancient Roman glass.  Beads have a lot of chips and pits, making them rustic and a great compliment to our rustic grasses.

Materials

Butterflies are handmade from fine silver (99.9% silver). Ear wires are forged from sterling silver (92.5% silver). Ancient Roman glass beads.

Dimensions

The total length of the earring from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the butterfly wing is approximately 2.25 inches.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
