My handmade locket is textured with prairie asters on the front and back in fine silver.  Inside the locket is a honey-hued sapphire gemstone that matches the locket's hexagonal shape.  A bee charm is attached at the top and moves as if protecting her sacred treasure hidden among the flowers.

This is a one-of-a-kind creation, handmade, with a story to tell of our marvelous honey bees.  See the video included with the photos.

Materials

The aster portions are made from solid fine silver (99.9% silver). All other parts are sterling silver. Chain is a 2mm rolo in sterling silver (92.5% silver).

Dimensions

The hexagon is about 7/8" across parallel sides. Chain with handmade clasp is 21" in length.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
