These fine silver switchgrass earrings are like looking at the night prairie under a full moon.  The darkened background makes the switchgrass texture shine.  A truly wonderful pair of earrings to wear every day or for special occasions. 

Long slender portions are fine silver construction, handmade with care. Please contact me for a custom order if this item is sold out. 

Each pair I create will be slightly different.  Expect slight variations in grass pattern.

Materials

Switchgrass portions are made from fine silver (99.9% pure silver). Earwires are solid sterling silver (92.5% silver).

Dimensions

Switchgrass portions measure approximately 1 5/8" x 1/4" and hang softly from my hand-forged long sterling silver ear wires.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
