I call these whispers of the prairie.  Mini pendants with just a touch of grass found on the prairie.  I've included the Kentucky Bluegrass, a popular grass, but it is not native to the prairies of North America.  You'll find the prairie favorites here: Indiangrass, Switchgrass, Ticklegrass, Little Bluestem, and Big Bluestem.

I think about our prairie grasses as the canvas, the foundation for the wildflowers which are the brushstrokes.  Together the grasses and the wildflowers make a beautiful work of art. 

The last photo is a representation of size only.  All chains are 18" in length.  If you want to purchase multiple pendants on one chain, please contact me for arrangements.

Materials

Each prairie grass pendant is made from fine silver (99.9% pure silver). Chain and bail are sterling silver (92.5% silver).

Dimensions

The pendants are approximately 3/8" in diameter. Chain is 18" in length.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
