Warm bronze moons are textured with prairie ticklegrass to create these stunning earrings.  They are soldered to a sterling silver round disk and hug a 4mm labradorite stone.  Labradorite is an iridescent stone flashing colors of blue, green, and yellow.  They remind me of star dust.  

The huggie-style earrings at the top are also a mixture of bronze and sterling silver.  

Over time, the bronze will darken naturally.  Polishing the raised portions with the polishing cloth included with your order will create a beautiful contrast.

Materials

Moons are handmade from bronze. All silver is solid sterling silver (92.5% silver). Ear huggie hoops are bronze with sterling silver ear posts. Gemstones are labradorite.

Dimensions

The total length of each earring from the top of the ear hoop to the bottom of the moon portion is about 2 1/2".

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
