I hand-sculpted this IO moth in fine silver.  Everything else is fabricated from solid sterling silver.  On the back, I've added a moon that includes my maker's mark.  It hangs from a bead chain of sterling silver.  Inspired by nature and the insects that live on our prairie.

Materials

The hand-sculpted moth is fine silver (99.9% silver). All other silver is solid sterling silver (92.5% silver). The chain is an oxidized sterling 1.5 mm bead chain.

Dimensions

Pendant measures approximately 1 1/2" x 1 1/8". Chain is 18" long.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
