A simple flower from the whorled milkweed adorns this fine silver crescent moon necklace. A rainbow moonstone sits in the darkened portion of the moon but shines with a luminous aura of light. It's a gorgeous piece highlighting the beauty of our native prairie plants. Each moon necklace is unique and showcases the diversity of our Earth.

Materials

I created the crescent moon in fine silver (99.9% pure silver) other portions are sterling silver (92.5% silver). Stone is a rainbow moonstone.

Dimensions

Gemstone is 8mm and the pendant is approximately 1" in diameter.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Keep gemstone away from extreme heat.
