This crescent moon necklace is textured with peppergrass. The moon holds a golden rutilated quartz gemstone that reflects the golden prairie grass of fall and winter. I've created this crescent moon to celebrate our night prairies. The moon's graceful curve and botanical detail create a harmonious balance between earth and sky, making this piece a subtle statement of natural elegance and celestial energy.

Materials

I created the crescent moon in fine silver (99.9% pure silver) other portions are sterling silver (92.5% silver). Stone is a rutilated quartz.

Dimensions

Gemstone is 8mm and the pendant is approximately 1" in diameter.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Keep gemstone away from extreme heat.
