A leadplant-textured moon is the star of this silver necklace.  The crescent moon hugs a light green prehnite gemstone.  The pendant has been oxidized and polished to bring out the texture of the leadplant leaf.  

I've made the ends of the cord in sterling silver and riveted those to the leather cord for a secure hold.  It is approximately 18" in length.  Only one like this is available.

Materials

I created the crescent moon in fine silver (99.9% pure silver); other portions are sterling silver (92.5% silver). Gemstone is prehnite. Pendant hangs from a genuine leather braided cord.

Dimensions

Gemstone is 10mm and the pendant is approximately 1 1/4" in diameter. Leather cord is 3mm and approximately 18 inches.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Keep gemstone away from extreme heat.
