A lady's thumb flower textures the moon on this pendant necklace, which hugs a carved cow-bone face cabochon to create this man-in-the-moon-themed piece.

This pendant hangs from an 18" sterling silver rolo chain.  The last photo on the mannequin is for size reference.

Materials

I created the crescent moon in fine silver (99.9% silver); other portions are sterling silver (92.5% silver). The cabochon is cow bone.

Dimensions

The cow bone cabochon is 10mm and the pendant is approximately 1" in diameter. Rolo chain is 18 inches in length.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Keep gemstone away from extreme heat.
