Cedar textures this large silver moon necklace.  The crescent moon hugs a green chalcedony gemstone that is the star of the show.  The pendant has been oxidized and polished to bring out the texture of the cedar.  

This pendant hangs from a ball chain of sterling silver.  It is approximately 18" in length.  A one-of-a-kind piece handcrafted by me.

Materials

I created the crescent moon in fine silver (99.9% pure silver); other portions are sterling silver (92.5% silver). Gemstone is chalcedony.

Dimensions

Gemstone is 10mm and the pendant is approximately 1 1/4" in diameter. Ball chain is 2mm and 18 inches in length.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Keep gemstone away from extreme heat.
