Cedar (juniper) impressions in fine silver are shaped in a Southwest-style cross.  Each impression hangs from sterling silver ear wires that I hand-forged.  Cedar is a sacred plant in many indigenous communities.  Each cross is heavily oxidized (darkened) with the raised portions polished to a high while to bring out the lovely texture of the cedar.  

Since these are handmade, each pair may be slightly different than those pictured.  

Each cross measures approximately 5/8" inches across and hangs 1 1/4" inches from the top of the ear wires.

Materials

Crosses are created in fine silver (99.9% silver) and hang from sterling silver (92.5% silver) ear wires.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
