Prairie sage textures the bronze moon on this pendant necklace, which hugs a rose-cut carnelian gemstone in a bright orange reminiscent of a sunrise or sunset on the prairie.

This pendant hangs from a rolo chain of sterling silver.  It is approximately 20" in length.  The last photo on mannequin is for size reference.

Bronze will naturally darken over time.  Polishing the raised texture with the polishing cloth included with your order will create a beautiful contrast.

Materials

I created the crescent moon in bronze; other portions are sterling silver (92.5% silver). Gemstone is carnelian agate.

Dimensions

The gemstone is 10mm and the pendant is approximately 1" in diameter. Rolo chain is 20 inches in length.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Keep gemstone away from extreme heat.
