I've taken a bittersweet pod that I molded and carved and had it cast in yellow bronze.  As bronze naturally oxidizes, it leaves a beautiful patina.   This necklace will be your new favorite fall piece.

Photos show the 18" length cable chain of solid sterling silver that is deeply oxidized to create a beautiful contrast to the bronze pendant.

Materials

The pendant is cast in solid yellow bronze. The chain is solid sterling silver (92.5% silver) that is deeply oxidized to give it the black/gray color.

Dimensions

Pendant Size: Approximately 7/8" x 5/8".

Chain: Cable chain is 18".

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
