Prairie switchgrass textures this bison silhouette necklace constructed from fine and sterling silver.  The fine silver bison is soldered securely to a sterling silver hoop representing the rising moon or the setting sun.  This piece holds all the beauty that we know of our tallgrass prairies.

Chain length can be selected from the drop-down menu before adding to your cart.  It can also be purchased without a chain.  The bison is about 5/8" tall and 7/8" long.

The pendant shown in photos has sold.  Because these are handmade, slight differences are to be expected.

Materials

I created the bison in fine silver (99.9% pure silver), the rest is solid sterling silver including the chain.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
