Silver cedar earrings are shaped in a southwest theme and have earth-toned beads draped from each side.  The beaded portion reminds me of the subtle colors of the sacred cedar tree from the green hues of the needles to the blue of the berries of the female tree and the brown cones of the male tree.  You can almost smell the sweetness.


 


Materials

I created the studs in fine silver (99.9% pure silver) with sterling silver (92.5% silver) posts and silicone backs. Beaded portion is 11/0 Czech glass black seed beads.

Dimensions

These earrings are 1.5 inches in length.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Keep the beaded portion away from contact with liquids.
