Maple leaf beaded fringe earrings are handmade from fine silver and 11/0 seed beads in fall color: crimson, amber, golds, with hints of purple.  As the maple's leaves turn and fall from their branches, the tree transitions to a resting state by storing energy in their roots and trunk.  As winter approaches, this transition can be peaceful and self-preserving.  All living beings share this need for rest.

Materials

I created the leaves in fine silver (99.9% pure silver) with sterling silver (92.5% silver) ear wires. Beaded portion is 11/0 glass seed beads.

Dimensions

These earrings are approximately 3 5/8 inches in length.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Keep the beaded portion away from contact with liquids.
