This crescent moon is textured with cedar needles.  I've paired it with a deep green chrome diopside gemstone that is 10mm in diameter.  Cedar is a sacred plant of many of our indigenous people.  Pendant is oxidized to bring out the texture of the cedar needles.  It's a lovely tribute to everlasting life.

All chains are sterling silver.  Lengths of 16", 18", or 20" are available or just order the pendant with no chain.   The ample opening of the bail will welcome most chains.

The last photo shows size only.  All images show necklace with an 18" chain.

Materials

I created the crescent moon in fine silver (99.9% pure silver). All other portions are sterling silver (92.5% silver). Stone is chrome diopside.

The pendant is approximately 1" in diameter.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Never place your chrome diopside jewelry in ultrasonic cleaners since the vibrations can cause the stone to fracture.
