I've been watching the birds lately. I feed them regularly with a mix of native wildflowers from my garden, which acts as a bird buffet for all who come to my yard seeking a snack. This fine silver necklace was inspired by watching the birds fly from the tree branches down to grab a seed or insect.  

Emerald is the birthstone for May.

Materials

The pendant is made from recycled fine silver (99.9% pure silver). The chain is solid sterling silver (92.5% silver).

Gemstone is a genuine round emerald.

Dimensions

Pendant Size: Approximately 7/8" diameter. Gemstone is 4mm.

Chain: 18" or 20" with lobster clasp.

Care information

Your order will come with a polishing cloth to touch up your jewelry pieces. I oxidize (tarnish) and polish the highlights of most of my jewelry pieces to bring out the texture of the prairie grasses and wildflowers. This oxidation will come off if polished with the cloth. When polishing pieces, polish only the raised surfaces to keep the dark oxidation.

Don't wear jewelry while swimming in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. Be aware that your piece can be damaged by some physical activities.
